Privacy Policy

FaceStudio ("FaceStudio", "we", "us") is an iPhone app that swaps faces in your videos using AI. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. We built FaceStudio to be private by default — your footage stays yours.

1. Information we collect

Account information

FaceStudio uses Sign in with Apple. When you sign in, we receive a unique, stable identifier from Apple and — only if you choose to share it — your name and an email address (which may be Apple's private relay address). We never see your Apple password.

Content you provide

To perform a swap you upload a video and choose one or more source face images. We process these to detect faces and produce your swapped video.

Device & notifications

If you enable notifications, we store an Apple Push Notification (APNs) device token so we can tell you when your swap is ready. We also collect basic technical data — app version, iOS version, and error/diagnostic logs — to keep the app working.

Subscriptions

Purchases of FaceStudio Pro are handled by Apple. We receive a transaction identifier and your subscription status from Apple so we can unlock features — we never receive or store your payment card or full billing details.

2. Face & biometric data

Because FaceStudio is a face-swap tool, our system analyzes the faces in the media you provide. Specifically, it computes facial geometry (face embeddings) from your uploaded video and source images in order to detect, group, and replace faces.

• We use this data only to perform the swap you request.
• We do not use it to identify you or any individual, and we do not sell it.
• We do not use your content or face data to train AI models.
• It is deleted along with your source media on the schedule described below.

3. How we use information

• To provide the core service — detect faces, run the swap, and return your video.
• To create and secure your account and authenticate your requests.
• To process subscriptions and unlock paid features.
• To send you notifications about the status of your swaps.
• To keep FaceStudio safe — detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and prohibited content.
• To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

4. Storage, security & retention

Your data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. We host on reputable cloud infrastructure (object storage, database, and compute) located in the United States.

• Source uploads auto-delete. The videos and source images you upload are removed automatically shortly after your swap is processed.
• Your results are available for you to download and remain under your control; you can delete them.
• Account deletion. You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account in the app. This removes your account, your jobs, and your stored media, and revokes your Sign in with Apple token where applicable. Deletion is irreversible.

5. Sharing & third parties

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers who process it on our behalf to run FaceStudio, under contracts that limit their use of it:

• Apple — Sign in with Apple, in-app purchases, and push notifications.
• Cloud infrastructure providers — encrypted object storage, database, and GPU compute used to store and process your media.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the public — including reporting illegal content (such as child sexual abuse material) to the appropriate authorities.

6. Your rights & choices

• Access & delete — delete your account and data anytime via Settings → Delete Account.
• Notifications — turn push notifications on or off in iOS Settings.
• Subscriptions — manage or cancel anytime in iPhone Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Withdraw consent — stop uploading content and delete your account at any time.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (such as access, correction, or portability). Contact us and we'll help.

7. Age requirement

FaceStudio is rated 18+ and is intended only for adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used the app, contact us and we will remove the account and associated data.

8. Where data is processed

FaceStudio is operated from Pakistan and processes data on cloud infrastructure in the United States. By using the app you understand your information may be processed in these locations, which may have different data-protection laws than your own.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. When we make material changes we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of FaceStudio after an update means you accept the revised policy.
